Overview

Hosted by Wyoming Energy Council and the Wyoming Home Performance Alliance

 Natural Gas Combustion and Troubleshooting is designed for technical advancement of professionals in residential building performance, HVAC, natural gas customer service, and other fields.  Furnaces, water heaters, and boilers will be the focus of combustion diagnostics, and raise the bar on troubleshooting.  Gas fireplaces, stoves and clothes dryers will be discussed but will not be the primary focus of the training.  

 The 1 1/2-day course will cover:

*       Combustion Theory and Principles

*       Diagnostic Equipment Review and Usage

*       Testing Protocols

*       Hands-on applications of diagnostics and troubleshooting of natural gas fired appliances

Meet the Trainers 

 

Chris Compton, CMS is the founder of HVACReducation.net, an international online education provider for the building and trades industry. He has three decades of HVACR industry experience, over a decade in classroom and online education. In 1998, Chris was designated one of the top ten outstanding trades and industry educators in the U.S. by the Association of Career and Technical Education.

 

Bill Parlapiano III, CM, CIAQ is the Dean of Green Collar Workforce and Education Programs for GrEEnCollarEdu.net, a service of HVACReducation.net. GrEEnCollarEdu.net is an online education provider. He founded BP Consulting in Ballston Spa, New York. He has worked with the building, remodeling and trades industry for over two decades and has experience as a contractor, consultant, federal and state government employee, and as the former CEO of BPI, a non-profit organization.
